New homeowners from Vancouver contacted Arianne Huene from A Rose in Thyme Landscape Design to create a rich and innovative plan. The design incorporated tiered gardens, a brick patio, crush rock, raised cedar beds and many gardens! We stripped all the lawn and started from scratch. The owners also asked us to replace their broken down cedar fencing at the same time, so it was a complete yard make over! The end result after we installed all new plants and laid fresh sod was simply stunning!
This magnificent, heritage property previously had renovations completed on the building but the grounds had been neglected for many years. We started on one side of the property and worked our way around the entire building, trimming, removing overgrown shrubs interwoven with blackberry vines, cut down dying trees, and even built rock walls and created new gardens. It was tough work and we put a lot of energy and sweat into this project, but the end result was a wonderful fresh appearance for a stately and grand old lady!
Our clients in Campbell River contacted us with a difficult area of their yard that had been a problem for many years. They asked us to remove all the tired shrubs from the sloped front yard adjacent to their driveway and build a retaining wall to manage the slope more efficiently. We used Allan Block to create a strong and yet attractive wall to manage a two-way slope. They are very happy with the new look and ease of access!
